I think this is the most simple with just few basic everyday ingredients yet tastes out of the world fish fry!! I always prefer using non stick pans for this as we end up using very very less oil and come up with healthy delicious fish. My 2 year old Arjun loves this fish and it is also very easy for me to feed him as it comes off the bone easily.
Ingredients:
Ginger-2" piece
Garlic-25 cloves
Red chilli powder- 2 tsp
Juice of 1 lemon
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil for shallow frying( few teaspoons)

Method:
- Make a fine paste of ginger and garlic without adding any water ( I use mortar and pestle ), mix chilli powder, salt, turmeric and lemon juice
- Clean and slit the pomfrets, Rub the paste over and inside the slits and marinate in fridge at least for 2 hours ( overnight for best results)
- Take a teaspoon of oil in a non stick frying pan and fry the fish for 5 mins over a medium flame, turn it and fry the other side for another five minutes adding another teaspoon of oil if needed
