Yeast-1&1/2 tbsp
Sugar-3 tbsp
LukeWarm Water-190 ml
Salt-1 tsp
Oil-1&1/2 tbsp
Method:
- Dissolve sugar in warm water, add yeast and let it sit for 10 mins till it is frothy. Add salt and oil, mix
- Take flour in a mixing bowl and make a soft dough by adding the yeast mixture, the dough will be soft and sticky, knead for about 10 mins. I used my stand mixture to this but you can very well do this by hand
- Place the dough in a well greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and let it sit for 1 hour. It doubles
- Punch back the dough and knead a little and divide it into 16 equal sized balls and place in a greased baking tray leaving a little space between for them to rise. Let it sit for another 45 minutes to 1 hour
- Brush the rised buns with milk and bake in a pre heated oven for 30 minutes at 180 c
- Rub some butter over the baked pavs and let them cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before removing from the tray and then cool completely
