Marble Bundt Cake

This cake is my favorite of the cakes i have  baked so far, I love plain vanilla cake and my kids love chocolate cake..with this cake you can have the best of both worlds :)
It is definitely not as complicated as it looks, make a regular vanilla cake batter, divide the batter into 2 equal portions, add the melted chocolate to one half of the batter..that's it!

Ingredients:
Flour- 295gms or 2&1/4 cup
Butter-170 gms or 3/4 cup at room temp
Granulated White Sugar-250 gms or 1&1/4 cup
Eggs- 3, at room temperature
Semi sweet/Dark chocolate-140 gms, chopped
Baking Powder-2&1/2 tsp
Baking Soda-1/4 tsp
Yogurt-80ml or 1/3 cup
Milk-120 ml or 1/2 cup
salt-1/2 tsp
Vanilla Extract-1&1/2 tsp

Method:
  1. Melt the chocolate on a double boiler and keep it aside to cool
  2. In a seperate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together
  3. Using stand mixer or with hand mixer, beat the butter and sugar until soft and fluffy, add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition, add vanilaa extract and yogurt
  4. On low speed, alternately add flour and milk in three additions, beginning and ending with flour
  5. Remove a little more than half of the batter and keep it in a seperate bowl, this will be our vanilla batter
  6. To the remaining half of the batter stir in the melted chocolate, this is our chocolate batter
  7. Place the batters into the greased bundt pan by alternating spoonfuls of vanilla batter with the chocolate batter. Then, with the tooth pick or knife, gently draw swirls through the batter to marbleize it. Don't over mix.(you can make this in a regular 8" round cake pan too)
  8. Bake in a pre heated oven at 180c for 35 to 40 mins or until the tooth pick inserted comes out clean, cool on a wire rack at least for 20 mins before removing from the pan
